MISSION STATEMENT

LAS PERSEVERADORAS (Women Of Perseverance) is a ministry of encouragement based on the Word of God. It is dedicated to help Christian women grow in the knowledge of the Scripture in order to mature in the faith and persevere in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR PRECEPT:

We shall not forsake our first love, because the Lord Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. If we remain in Him (or abide in Him) and He in us, we shall bear much fruit, for without (apart from) Him we can do nothing (Jn. 15:5).

OUR PURPOSE:

To proclaim the word of reconciliation in order to edify, encourage and comfort, declaring “Jesus Christ, and Him crucified” (2 Co. 5:19; I Co. 2:2) so that He may add to His flock all those who receive Him (Jn. 1:12).

OUR PROMISE:

To work with faithfulness and moral and financial integrity.

OUR PETITION:

“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ… That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak” (Col. 4:2-4).

Our outreach to Spanish ladies is accomplished through our volunteers’ efforts in three different approaches,

    Broadcast Ministry
    Counseling Ministry
    Prayer Ministry

The Broadcast Ministry is a twice a week 15 minute Bible teaching radio program and 2 minute vignettes. These programs emphasize perseverance in our walk with Christ regardless of the trials one could be facing. Also, with today's society demands, we encourage mothers to make their home a priority, striving to raise godly sons and daughters. In addition, we welcome guest speakers with the same doctrinal position to share their testimonies and teachings.

The Counseling Ministry through and with our teachings and counselor part of our Edification Team.

The Prayer Ministry is formed of International Intercessors, some who are bilingual. They pray for dozens of weekly requests, both in English and Spanish. Many represent congregations who meet during the week who also uplift the requests. What a blessing!

By God's grace, doing all we can in the Lord, with all we possess, at every opportunity we receive!
